We have partnered with several organizations to either fully create a soundscape exhibit for the public or add soundscape recordings to an exhibit where sound is a major feature of the presentation.

This permanent exhibit is a room-sized exhibit that was remodeled in November 2016 that showcases interactive sound recordings made by the CGS Team across the state from restored prairies and old growth forest stands. Exhibition is located in Exhibit Hall #5, Level 1.
Is a traveling exhibit (20ft x 20 ft) that features the sounds and imagery of the Borneo rainforest. Completely walk-in, immersive experience has 24 speakers that are configured to play sounds from animals at random and mobile devices configured to display information about the forest, animals, and sounds using augmented reality tools from theroar.io. Also features transparent speakers from M. Cakmak. Located in Birck Nanotechnology Center.
Two brickheads, facing one another, play recordings from the Purdue Wildlife area as well as sounds from the city. Originally designed to be interactive, the units now play the sounds of the wetlands at night.
An interactive sound and information display booth that teaches visitors about the various bird calls at the local nature center in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Situated as a temporary exhibit at the Michigan Science Center, the sounds from our Channel Islands, Costa Rica and Puerto Rica soundscape studies are showcases with the science of sounds featured in an interactive, science meets art, temporary exhibit.
