TRAINING
A tutorial guide that would take three hours using a Windows computer was developed as part of an NSF Research Coordination Network (RCN) grant to the center between 2014-2018. The guide was recently (October, 2023) updated. Sample sound recordings are also distributed with the guide.
The ZIP file includes sound files and the PDF Guide.
We also provide a lot of training for how to use passive acoustic recording equipment as well as how to fly drones using programmed flight paths for habitat mapping.
