The Center for Global Soundscapes hosts ongoing workshops that assist in the discovery and dissemination of scientific research, engagement of community through special topic events, and builds public awareness using
citizen science and museum spaces.
We invite you to participate in a hands-on workshop for museum leaders, educators for middle school STEM programs, and advocates for modern science communication methods. Please complete the application to be considered for a funded workshop experience.
STEM Transmedia: A workshop to create
wonder about the natural world

Applications are due July 10, 2019 at 5:00 pm EDT. Selected applicants will receive funding for travel and accommodations according to National Science Foundation (NSF) guidelines for travel reimbursement.
All airfare travel must be booked at least two weeks prior to the event and use an American airline carrier. Airfare coverage is for one individual. Transportation using your own vehicle will be reimbursed at the NSF approved mileage rate.
July 17: participants arrive by 4:00 pm EDT; business casual evening registration and reception that will showcase the large screen movie, “Mission to Record the Earth.”
July 18-19: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EDT, hands-on workshop at the Indiana State Museum.
July 19-20: optional activities.
